Starrett Appoints Wells Director of Operations and Continuous Improvement

The L.S. Starrett Company, Athol, MA, a manufacturer of precision measuring tools and gauges, metrology systems and more, has appointed Matthew Wells director of operations and continuous improvement. He has extensive experience with Toyota Production Systems, lean manufacturing and Six Sigma, and has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration, both from Western New England University.
