Simulation-Software Developer ESI Group to be Acquired

Electronic-measurement technology developer Keysight Technologies, Inc., Santa Rosa, CA, has announced its intention to acquire the entire share capital of ESI Group SA, a provider of virtual-prototyping solutions in the automotive and aerospace markets. ESI Group’s software solutions simulate a product’s behavior during testing and real-life use, and also can develop real-time digital-twin solutions combining model-driven simulation with data-driven tests to create virtual simulations.
“Keysight’s acquisition of ESI Group accelerates our strategy of providing software-centric solutions with virtual-prototyping and advanced-simulation capabilities,” says Satish Dhanasekaran, president and CEDO of Keysight.
ESI, based in Rungis, France, has U.S. offices in Farmington Hills, MI, San Diego, CA, and San Francisco, CA.
