Fagor Arrasate to Supply High-Speed Press Line to Vietnamese EV Manufacturer

Fagor Arrasate has received an order from Vietnamese electric-vehicle
manufacturer VinFast to supply a new high-speed full-servo press line for its
manufacturing complex in Haiphong, Vietnam. The line, expected to enter
production during the first half of 2024, will consist of five servo presses
with a total a pressing force of 73.000 kN, shared between a servo-driven 25,000-kN
lead press and four 12,000-kN presses. Capable of handling dies as large as 5000
by 2600 mm at each press, the line will stamp steel and aluminum skin parts. Fagor
will install the complete line, including front-of-line equipment, the presses,
and automation for inter-press synchronization.
