Servo and Mechanical Presses, Plus Coil Feeding

As seen at FABTECH...Amada Press System introduced its Goriki SDEW 1613 i3 high-rigidity, double-crank servomechanical press. Its eight-sided gib guide on the slide part improves eccentric-load resistance and maintains stable processing accuracy during production. It proves especially effective for forming asymmetrical parts that require high eccentric-load resistance. And, unique pendulum motion allows for medium- to high-speed production of parts such as those used in electric-vehicle motors. The company demonstrated the press in conjunction with its LCC04HF4 straightener/feeder.
