Tab Industries Adds Tapping to its Range of Metalworking Services
July 29, 2022Comments
Metalworking manufacturer Tab Industries, LLC, Reading, PA, has purchased a new FlexArm pneumatic tapping arm from Flex Machine Tools, Wapakoneta, OH. Expanding the company's range of metal fabricating, cutting, and associated services, the Model S-36 tapping arm (tap capacity #6-9/16 in., with a 22-76-in. reach) provides high-quality threading in a range of materials at faster speeds than Tab's CNC-machining and manual-tapping operations. With its ability to thread laser-cut holes, the tapping arm offers added value and convenience to laser-cutting and turnkey-manufacturing customers.
Along with the FlexArm, which Tab purchased from equipment distributor Norman Machine Tool, LTD, Baltimore, MD, the company also purchased a semiautomatic tap-lubrication system, automatic depth stop, horizontal tapping adapter, and a variety of taps and accessories.
