T.J. Snow Acquires ATek Controls
April 15, 2020Comments Resistance-welding (RW) equipment manufacturer T.J. Snow, Chattanooga, TN, has acquired ATek Controls, including its TruAmp line of precision AC RW controls.
“The product line will be in good hands with T.J. Snow,” says former ATek owner Gary Lowder. “They understand customer service and have the technical expertise to support the product.”
Josh Garmon, a T.J. Snow service engineer, adds, “The TruAmp series of controls uses a learning curve, along with a patented current-measuring algorithm, to achieve consistent current output.”
T.J. Snow will provide the controls and replacement components, and also offer repairs to control circuit boards.
