MC Machinery Launches Podcast Series—"Minds on Manufacturing”

Metalworking and metal fabrication machine manufacturer MC Machinery has launched a new “Minds on Manufacturing” podcast, to cover timely topics in fabricating, machining and general manufacturing, and available on all major podcast platforms. The first episode, launched in December, features Mark Bringle, technical sponsorship and marketing director at Joe Gibbs Racing, who provides a behind-the-scenes look at the manufacturing processes that have propelled several NASCAR drivers, including Denny Hamlin, Kyle Busch, Marvin Truex, Jr., and Erik Jones, to victory.

The second episode features Lasernut president Cody Waggoner, who explains how he started and grew Lasernut into one of Southern California’s premier laser shops for the automotive industry. Waggoner also talks about Lasernut Racing, the team for which he competes in off-road vehicle “rock crawling” events, and how he built a 3200 -sq.-ft. container house on 10 acres in the Mojave Desert, named Laser Town.

Future topics include how to select the right press brake tooling, with MC Machinery press brake product manager David Bray and Wilson Tool product manager Steve Brown; and manufacturing automation, with Staub Manufacturing cofounder and President Steve Staub and MC Machinery automation specialist Jason LeGrand.
