Andritz Herr-Voss Stamco Commissions CTL Line at Rolled Alloys
September 23, 2020Comments Andritz Herr-Voss Stamco Inc., Callery, PA, has installed a new cut-to-length line at the Rolled Alloys facility in Fairfield, OH, capable of processing 0.125-in.-thick stainless-steel and nickel-alloy sheet to 48 in. wide, with an incoming coil capacity of 20,000 lb. The line, which includes two precision levelers, was designed to meet Rolled Alloys’ specific product requirements, including the processing of high-strength nickel alloys. A precision roll-feed system coupled with a high-speed shear enables the efficient and accurate cutting of long and short blanks. In addition, the line allows for the application of paper or vinyl to the leveled material.
