BLM Group Appoints Senior Business Development Manager

BLM Group USA, Novi, MI, a manufacturer of tube and flat sheet processing equipment, has appointed Luca Croce as its senior business development manager. In his new role, Croce will be responsible for creating and implementing market strategies that align with industry trends and competitive analysis. He will work closely with sales and product teams in the United States and Italy, where the company is headquartered, as well as collaborating with marketing and distribution channels.

Croce brings a wealth of experience to his new position. He established his knowledge of metalworking machinery while launching commercial-development initiatives in Australia focused on laser cutting of thin sheet metal, thick plate and tubes. During this time, he also deepened his knowledge of press brake machines.

From 2016 to late 2024, Croce held positions of progressive responsibility with Cy-Laser America LLC in Detroit. There, he most recently served as a sales engineer and executive responsible for researching and recommending prospects for new business opportunities. Croce has a special interest and proficiency in the physics of laser cutting and the manner in which modifying parameters affects cut quality.

Croce studied electrical engineering and computer science at the Istituto Tecnico Industriale Statale S. De Pretto.
