July 17, 2019Comments
The University of Sheffield (England) recently took delivery of a Desktop Metal Studio System, becoming one of the UK’s early adopters of the metal 3D printing system. Designed to provide an office-friendly solution for low-volume, low-cost rapid prototyping, it produces tooling, jigs and fixtures. The university is working with Tri-Tech 3D, a provider of 3D solutions, to install their Desktop Metal Studio System at the Royce Translational Center, part of the University of Sheffield's Department of Materials Science and Engineering and a partner of the Henry Royce Institute for Advanced Materials.
