Jorgensen Announces New Director of Sales

Jorgensen Conveyor and Filtration Solutions, Mequon, WI, has named John Powalisz its new director of sales, taking over for the company’s former director of sales and marketing, Karl Kleppek, who was promoted to president and COO in November 2022.

“I enjoy learning about customers, their manufacturing processes and their problems, and then finding ways to solve those challenges with equipment and solutions,” Powalisz says. He has a broad and diverse background in industrial sales, having sold capital-equipment solutions for the heat treatment and manufacturing industries, and sampling equipment and systems for thermal power plants and oil and gas applications. He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering, with continuing-education certificates from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and other programs.
