Line of Transporter Magnets Expanded to 689-lb. Capacity

Industrial Magnetics, Inc., Boyne City, MI, has expanded its line of cylinder-actuated material-handling magnets, for use in place of vacuum cups or grippers when lifting and moving stamped and hydroformed parts, tubes and assemblies. Capacity ranges from 5 to 689 lb. The transporter magnets, which require no electricity, offer a slim profile and instantaneous pickup and release—use them to lift parts in and out of totes and bins and for other challenging applications.
