MW Industries Acquires Economy Spring

CommentsMW Industries, Logansport, IN, a manufacturer of springs, stampings and specialty fasteners, has acquired Economy Spring, Southington, CT, a manufacturer of springs, metal stampings and wire forms. It’s the first investment for MWI, which operates 13 facilities, since the firm joined the Genstar Capital, LLC middle-market private-equity firm.
