Schuler Inc., Canton, MI, has released a brochure that outlines its comprehensive maintenance, service and repair programs to maintain efficiency in stamping and forming systems. The brochure explains how the Schuler Service and Engineering team partners with stamping facilities to develop total preventive-maintenance schedules and inspections designed to maximize system uptime, reduce repairs and costs and improve productivity—regardless of equipment brand.

Topics include managed PM programs, standby spare-parts procedures, and routine oil/filter inspections and changes. Strategies offered include component exchange and rebuild for hydraulic pumps to avoid expensive emergency replacements. Specific exchange and repair services for crossbars, clutch/brake units, accumulators and counterbalance cylinders are available, plus component upgrade/rebuild services to improve performance of older equipment, as well as equipment relocation/installation.
