Future Products Increases Tool-Making Capacity
December 1, 2010CommentsTwo new Makino high-speed vertical machining centers have made their onto the shop floor of Future Products, Clawson, MI, to boost the firm’s capacity to manufacture precision die tooling and machined components.
The machines, Makino S56 models, employ a 40-taper, 13,000-RPM spindle and are equipped with a 20-tool magazine and automatic tool changer. Future Products specified one of the models with a fourth-axis rotary table.
