S.B. Whistler Acquires Die Shop, Plans to Relocate Soon
April 1, 2010Comments S.B. Whistler & Sons, Inc., Akron, NY, a manufacturer of modular dies for sheetmetal punching and notching, has acquired Phinney Tool and Die, Medina, NY, a manufacturer of tooling, dies and press lines for heat-transfer coil production, particularly fin dies for air-conditioning equipment. Whistler plans to relocate its operations to Phinney’s 30,000-sq.-ft. plant during 2010.
