Check-Mate Announces $16-Million Expansion

Check-Mate Industries, a West Babylon, NY-based tool and die, stampings and assemblies manufacturer for the handgun and rifle-magazines industry, announced plans to expand in southwest Georgia. The company’s $16-million expansion will create 230 jobs and take place over a 5-yr. period.
