Miller Electric Partners with IPG Photonics to Develop Handheld Laser-Welding Technology

Miller Electric Mfg. LLC, a manufacturer of arc-welding products, and fiber-laser and amplifier manufacturer IPG Photonics Corp. have announced a strategic technology partnership to promote laser solutions for handheld welding applications. With the alliance, the companies expect to advance laser technologies for the handheld welding market and reshape the landscape of welding tools.
