Sciaky EBW Machine to Michigan Fabricator

Sciaky, Inc., Chicago, IL, will soon deliver a state-of-the-art electron beam (EB) welding machine to Merrill, a vertically integrated manufacturer operating a nearly 700,000-sq.-ft. plant in Saginaw, MI. It serves a variety of industries including aerospace, defense, chemical, energy, oil and gas, transportation and mining. Sciaky EB welding systems provide multiaxis welding-gun motion, to operate at half the chamber volume of fixed/external gun systems, provide beam access for unusual weld-joint configurations, and significantly simplify part tooling.
