Dallas Industries, Troy, MI, a manufacturer of press feeding equipment and controls, and the Precision Metalforming Association (PMA) recognized Joe Gentilia for his many years of service during a presentation at FABTECH 2023. Gentilia’s career started in engineering services for a coil handling press feeding design company before joining Dallas in 1970. His career with Dallas began with building and selling feed line equipment. He also worked as a draftsman and service technician.
Gentilia acquired Dallas in 1988 with his partner Robert Klotz. In 2006 they sold the company, and then bought it back with a new business partner, Willie Chacko.
During the FABTECH presentation honoring Gentilia upon his retirement, PMA president David Klotz presented him with a plaque that reads, “PMA expresses sincere appreciation to Joe Gentilia for his tireless dedication to the metal forming industry and active involvement in the association and the East Michigan District throughout the years. Thank you for your longtime support of PMA.”
Gentilia has been a member of PMA since 1989 and will continue his involvement with the association during his retirement.
