Schuler’s Educational Session Presents New Applications
Designed for OEMs and Tiers
Schuler North America will present “Latest Innovations of Laser Blanking Lines” on October 15, from 12-1 PM, at FABTECH Orlando. The presentation will unveil a new, extremely high accuracy application that ensures perfect edges and accuracies for tailor-welded blanks.
“FABTECH Orlando has the perfect audience that will uniquely benefit from Schuler’s new application,” explains Tiago Vasconcellos, Sales Director of Automotive & Industry at Schuler North America. “OEMs and Tiers producing tailor-welded blanks will learn how they can get better material utilization, optimized blank properties, improved assembly processes and volumetric efficiency in the body shop.”
Schuler’s presentation also will highlight market challenges and specific laser blanking solutions, predictive quality assurance and data mapping via Track & Trace laser serialization, and Check2Flatten (C2F) smart leveler adjustment.
“Schuler celebrates 10 years of supplying laser blanking lines for serial production, with 21 systems sold worldwide, this year,” says Justine Fonteyne, Area Sales Manager of the Americas at Schuler Pressen GmbH. “Attendees will walk away with keen market insights beyond the long-term, cost-efficient success that comes with laser blanking technology.”
Laser blanking lines can achieve up to 45 parts per minute and reduce costs per blank. Additional advantages include flexible blank geometries for easy adaptations and emergency production, high surface quality, quick product changes with die-free technology, and reduced investment costs with the elimination of dies, a press and loop pit, die storage, and cranes for dies.
Vasconcellos and Fonteyne will co-present and bring their 26 years of combined expertise and technical know-how to the session. Visit the Schuler team at FABTECH Orlando, Room S-330 H, to learn more.
